Playin' in the Rain

These pictures were taken of Wyatt the day he discovered that playing in the rain was WAY fun!! We were outside cleaning up some back yard toys and all it took was one pounce into a water puddle before it was ALL over. I typically would have freaked out and made him come back inside the house, but this time I just giggled and let him play. He was having way too much fun for me to not let that one slide. :)

Slow Dancin' with Weston

This is just a random shot that Josh got of Weston and me slow dancin' on the back patio. I happen to like it. :)

Halloween 2009

Our first Halloween with both boys! Soooo much fun! Weston was dressed up as a little monkey and Wyatt was a turkey. :) I squished a few blankets in Wyatt's red wagon for Weston to lay in while we went trick-or-treating. Weston was sacked out the majority of the time, but he was by far the cutest little monkey anyone had ever seen! The little turkey that kept running around saying "Raaaaur" was definitely a hot topic between others in the neighborhood. He thought he was VERY scary! Hee hee. Wyatt got lots of candy and thought he had died and gone to heaven!

Fishing With Daddy

Fishing is, BY FAR, Wyatt's most favorite thing to do, especially with his Daddy! There happens to be a little man made lake close to our house that is stocked full of bass and Wyatt and Josh go there quite often to catch a few. On this particular day, Josh had tied a little froggy lure on the end of Wyatt's pole (no hook of course) thinking that Wyatt could just practice casting and reeling it in and thinking that no fish would actually bite the lure. Well, much to our surprise, a giant bass bit the frog and jerked the fishing pole AND Wyatt right into the water! Josh was standing right beside him, so he scooped him right up. I though Wyatt was going to be scarred for life and never want to fish again. But what does he do? He dies laughing and is ready to cast again! That's our son!!

Arts and Crafts

I usually try and do some kind of fun artsy craftsy stuff with Wyatt since baby Weston gets a lot of my attention. This is something we like to do, just us, when Weston is napping. The apple was the first thing we ever made together. We were both very proud!! :)

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Halloween was fast approaching. We only had just a few more days before all the pumpkins would be gone from the pumpkin patches, so at about 6:30pm one evening, I told Josh we needed to go RIGHT NOW or we were gonna miss out on cute photos. Thankfully, he agreed, and I threw one of my favorite shirts on Wyatt, combed his little hair, and we rolled out! Of course, Weston was just a little too young for me to be ploppin' him up on some pumpkins, so we only got Wyatt this year. We were the only ones there at that time and he was just running around everywhere sayin' "punkin' patch, punkin' patch, punkin' patch" over and over. :) I was just clicking as many pics as I could. These were my favorites.

My First Post

Well, I've decided that creating a blog for Wyatt and Weston would be the best way for my close family and friends to keep up with them. Lord knows, there's always a LOT going on around here with all these boys! I also hope that one day Wyatt and Weston will be able to look back at this and know how blessed their mommy and daddy are to have such beautiful amazing boys!

I wish I would have started this when Wyatt was born, but since going back that far would probably take me FOREVER, I'm just going to begin this when they actually became brothers, September 21 2009, the day John Weston was born.

Sweet little Wyatt was about as excited as a 2 year old could be. He used to give my big belly tons of hugs and kisses all the time but I don't think he really knew what was going on until Baby Weston actually arrived.

Weston was born at 3:58 on that Monday morning. He was 7 pounds, 1.9 ounces and 19 inches long. 10 fingers, 10 toes and the cutest little face (besides his big brother) in the world!!
